Mercedes Rodrigo was born in 1976 in Madrid (Spain), where she still lives. She graduated in Fine Arts, and developed her interest for fantasy, science fiction, illustration and videogames as a child.

Mercedes has worked as graphic designer and illustrator for fantasy, sci-fi and RPG books, but she has focused her career working for the videogames industry. She has worked for the following videogames companies:

Rebel Act Studios
Mercury Steam Entertainment
Pyro Studios

Mercedes is now a full-time freelance illustrator and photographer for several projects.
